Dan’s finished filming the new TV show and the broadcast dates are confirmed.

Delilah, Spector, King Charles and Charli XCX are all on over the next few nights.

On Wednesday, 18th January, there’s 3 episodes on from 12:25am, Channel 4. Theme Park, Jessie Ware and 2:54 all playing live in the studio. Then the following Wednesday, 25th January, the last 3 are on from 12:15am, Channel 4.

Dan leaves XFM in 2012

After 2 successful years on XFM’s afternoon show, Dan has decided to leave XFM.

In his time at XFM, he’s covered the Mercury Music prize, spent a month in the Alps and worked at festivals around the world. Not forgetting, interviewing most of the XFM playlist.

Programme Director, Andy Ashton, thanked Dan for his work and wished him all the best for his exciting projects in the year ahead.

XFM is a new music station that broadcasts across the UK. It’s most famous for launching the careers of Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Karl Pilkington and Jimmy Carr.

Launched at Red Bull Studios

Red Bull and Channel 4 are making a brand new TV show to highlight the 10 biggest new bands and artists for 2012. Dan’s been asked to present the 10 part programme which will be broadcast in January and February next year.

Spector, Dot Rotten, Jessie Ware, King Charles, Theme Park and Charli XCX are all lined up for the show, which will be filmed at Red Bull Studios, near London Bridge.

It’s Dan’s first time on TV and he can’t wait to get stuck in:
