RoughRunner

September 16th is Rough Runner day. Think of it as Takeshi’s Castle meets Gladiators. A 10km assault course race on London’s Clapham Common. Dan will be running it in support of one his key charities, Global’s Make Some Noise. The charity helps young people right across the UK suffering from disease, poverty and general lack of opportunities. To sponsor Dan, and to help raise vital money, click the link. Warchild 2017

Every year in the lead up to the Brit Awards, Warchild put on some intimate shows, with the UK’s biggest bands and artists! Warchild now helps over 100,000 young people around the world in conflict zones. And they can help even more if you get involved and buy a ticket to one of this year’s shows. The 1975, Paul Weller, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, and so many more, are already confirmed for these tiny gigs in February 2017. Dan will be hosting the shows throughout Warchild week, at venues across London.

Movember

It’s almost that time of year again, where thin slivers of facial fuzz appear on the top lip of men around the world. For many years, it was hard to tell whether or not this was just a bold fashion statement made by the young trendies of Shoreditch, Silverlake and Brooklyn. However, with the rising popularity of a November tash, it’s become quite clear that anyone growing a mo pre-xmas, is probably doing it to raise awareness of MOVEMBER. It’s the only global campaign that aims to raise awareness around the issues that cause young men to die too young. From Cancer, to mental health, their aim is simple: STOP MEN DYING YOUNG. And you don’t have to grow a mo to get involved. Organise an event, put on a party, do anything that helps get the message out there. Dan will be getting involved in physical challenges and DJ sets throughout Movember 2016. Check out their site for more info: https://uk.movember.com/
